Lent begins with the first of the blessings that I thank God for: how wonderful to live here! And I pray for people who live in unpleasant surroundings. (That could be a very long prayer, taking all day.) Then feed the dog, give Molly some hay and off to Morning Prayer before coming home to check e-mails and go to school for assembly.

DeleteDear Susan. What a great photo, and such a lovely day! It doesn't often look like that as we walk past West Woodburn Church on the Tuesday before Easter, but here's hoping for 2016. Carlisle Leg Northern Cross is now planning to walk our normal pilgrimage this Holy Week, and we would love to see you. Maggie Mason -
ReplyDeleteDear Maggie, Sorry I didn't see your comment until today (24th April) partly owing to a couple of weeks of computer problems. Then I missed the Northern Cross pilgrims this year through the early Easter, planning for a two-day visit from our new bishop etc etc! Hope to see you next year. Best wishes,Susan
