Bank Holiday sun

Monday 22nd April 2019
Zeb enjoyed the sun whilst I hung out the washing  --  and then continued with a day of clearing up after  eight days of non-stop Church activity.

Easter Day

Sunday 21st April 2019
Decorated and ready to celebrate the new life and hope of Easter.  After the 9.30 service there, I went on to Falstone for 11 o'clock, Thorneyburn for 12 o'clock and spent an hour in the beautiful afternoon sun at the Living Church at Kielder Waterside where the willow "walls" are already beginning to sprout into life.
 

Holy Saturday

Saturday 20th April 2019
St Cuthbert's Bellingham, bare for Good Friday as we held an hour's reflection to commemorate Jesus' death by crucifixion.


On Saturday morning (the day intervening between Crucifixion and Resurrection) church decorating began with constructing a stone cave for Jesus' tomb and planting an Easter Garden.

Planting a Living Church

A small group of people, under the guidance of Ruth the expert willow weaver, spent the day planting a living church which will grow at Kielder Waterside.  [See separate "Growing a Living Church" page]

Spring Annual Meetings
