When they left with their parents, four older people looked in as they were passing during a country drive. We got into conversation and ended up singing hymns in the wonderful acoustic, finishing with a very nice tenor solo!
Lovely! I remember an occasion when my father was taking a service in a remote country community. They were held in a community hall and there was only an out of tune piano. Two strangers turned up and added their voices to ours. They were both trained singers - what a difference that made to the music!
