Transfiguration

No celebration of the Feast of the Transfiguration
in St Cuthbert's church Bellingham

In preparation for Thursday's funeral we realised that we need extra hymn books.  And where were they stored after their removal from St Cuthbert's?  The solution was to borrow from Corsenside.  After a (part fund-raising, part social) tea party in Otterburn, we went up through the farm to St Cuthbert's Corsenside and found that only a few books had been brought up to the "summer church" from Woodburn.  So we travelled down to All Saints to say Evening Prayer there, collect the rest of the books and spend the evening with a Churchwarden at Woodburn.
