Forestry Commission Centenary

Friday 10th May 2019
Vintage van at Kielder Castle

Jim Barraclough, 94, (who planted some of the first trees at Kielder) planting a commemorative Scots Pine descended from a 170 year-old tree still standing in the outer reaches of the parish

Old rutters, the one on the right in relatively original state, the middle one worn by sharpening , and the lefthand one worn out!
